Aim For a Bullseye at Bad Axe Throwing
July 9, 2019Axe throwing is one of the most popular trends sweeping the nation, and now DC locals can round up a group of friends and see who’s got the best aim during an axe throwing session at Bad Axe Throwing. It’s kind of like darts–you aim at a target and compete to see who can hit the bulls-eye–but you’re throwing an axe rather than a dart. Sound a bit dangerous? Don’t worry. The staff will give you a brief lesson covering both throwing techniques and safety practices before you begin. You can even book private axe throwing lessons to perfect your form and learn more advanced techniques.
It’s best to reserve your room ahead of time (especially if you’re coming with a group), though the facility does have walk-in hours set aside every day (walk-hours are subject to change, though, so be sure to check the website for a current schedule).
